Great Lakes Kayak opened its doors in the summer of 2005 and since then has been committed to providing you with the best paddling experience possible.  We proudly offer and represent Eddyline Kayaks because we believe they demonstrate optimum quality and durability in the full range of their boat designs.  Building on the integrity of the Eddyline Kayaks, we are dedicated to bringing you the best value and service possible.  We accomplish this with weekly kayak demonstrations where you can “try before you buy,” and stock paddling gear and accessories that we would recommend to our best friends.  Whether you are looking for a kayak, paddle, PFD, or some obscure piece of equipment you are sure no one has heard of, come into our showroom or give us a call at 847-582-1070, we will do our best to get what you need.  We are certain you will be pleased no matter what your level of kayaking ability or paddling style.

Over the past two years Great Lakes Kayak has shown a commitment to the community.  We promote safe paddling techniques and are committed to providing space for the education and development of kayaking skills in order to enhance everyone’s experience on the water.  In the past we have partnered with organizations such as: The Boy Scouts of America, Illinois Paddling Council, Lake County Forest Preserve, Waukegan Power Squadron, Wilderness Medical Association, Y-ME Illinois, and Earth Day cleanup activities.
